[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide production of travel information content-whether in print, online, video or combination of all media-about the state.
- Marketing mission is to increase visitor spending to state. To accomplish its missions, the state office of tourism uses an integrated marketing approach to generate awareness of state as a travel destination
- Appealing, informative, and inspirational travel information is essential to a consumer’s trip planning process and that information is now expected to be delivered through a variety of formats including print and digital
- Advertising sales and services, and providing aging reports on the 15th of every month
- Editorial services, including content development and layout for print and digital applications, that demonstrate a commitment to editing excellence
- Collateral development, design and production
- Digital engagement, social media enhancement and campaigns
- Visual and audio asset and product inventory database management
- Publication of regularly scheduled promotional pieces and programs such as biweekly electronic newsletters
- Ability to access and update listings from proprietary database
- Annual printed travel guide and travel-related publications
- Pre-production and printing services
- Digital design and content creation
- Creation of rich media that is compatible across a variety of digital platforms and networks
- Communications that support marketing initiatives such as commemorations, and product development activities such as culinary, outdoor recreation, designated trails programs, and other specific tourism initiatives
- Work in conjunction with the state office of tourism marketing and communications team and partners (including advertising agency of record) to develop, design and produce visitor information to promote travel in state, and reinforce the brand image of the state
- In conjunction with research manager, conduct consumer research to inform content
- Work with the office of tourism to implement a sales strategy and approach for revenue generation that will foster ad sales to support content
- Solicit and manage advertising sales compliant with mutually agreed-upon pricing and revenue sharing structure
- Produce companion material which may or may not be excerpted from the initial content structure for uses such as (but not limited to) stand-alone travel collateral and website pages
- Work with the state office of tourism to identify and develop public and private partnerships to aid in the production and financing of said materials
- Perform continuous data collection and annual research on the effectiveness of the published content among readers and tourism industry partners
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on November 7, 2018.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
