[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide microfilm services using scanning resolution at 300 DPI in PDF file format.
- The city no longer receives aperture cards, instead receives digital format for access purposes which requires a 32 Gig thumb drive or larger.
- The city has the right to accept or reject the production by the contractor. Original paper document sizes on average will be twenty-four by thirty-six inches long however, the largest document sets will be thirty-six by forty-eight inches long. The digital plan submittal quantity may increase as the city’s digital plan submittals process is completed.
- The principal user will be the city’s development services department. All document prep, pick-up, delivery and digital and film mediums charges shall be included in the unit prices. The city submits plans twice a year for processing, but may submit plans only once or up to four times a year. Pick up plans and delivery of any materials to 20 Interchange. The contractor will destroy the paper plans.
- Update current archival 35 MM microfilm and aperture cards into 300 dpi multi-page PDF format.
(2) Approximate work volume will be 14,000 access images in digital format (PDF) and 15,000 diazo master images on 25 silver halide microfilm rolls are anticipated annually.
